Striped Bass! Ouachita, because of its size, has become a favorite
among boating enthusiasts with plenty of room for swimming,
waterskiing, wakeboarding and freshwater fishing.
The Ouachita
National Forest that covers 160,000 acres, lies partially inside
of Jessieville, AR, where you can hunt for deer, turkey, squirrel,
bear, furbearers, cottontail, quail, raccoon, dove, and coyote.
Also, don't forget that Ouachita National Forest has some of
Arkansas's best Turkey Hunting!
For the kids, there is also a playground only a block away.
Historical Hot springs is a short drive that offers many souvenir shops as well as Magic Springs & Crystal Falls, a
theme/water park with roller coasters and all kinds of fun! For
an educational experience, visit the Mid- America Science Museum.

hiking and biking trails in the country. From beginner trails to expert
trails, they all contain the beautiful Ouachita scenery. Possum
Kingdom Trail head is a short bike from the cabins.
